INSPIRATION

To the Fools is my love letter to immigration, dreams, and the courage to pursue what truly makes you happy. The story is partly inspired by my own experiences. I spent some time working in a supermarket, and while stacking shelves and doing everyday tasks, I often found myself daydreaming about bigger goals and a different future.

As a hopeless romantic and a huge fan of musicals, I thought: why not turn a supermarket into a big stage? That idea became the heart of the story: a young woman with a dream, imagining a life beyond her current circumstances.

Being a no-budget project, I had the freedom to fully embrace creativity and let my imagination lead the way. Looking back, the film reflects a lot of who I am: my hopes, my ambitions, and my belief that sometimes the biggest dreams can come from the most ordinary places.
