WORK EXPERIENCE

I completed work experience at Warner Bros. De Lane Lea in London, one of the UK's coolest leading post-production facilities. During my time there, I worked as a Runner, supporting the studio team while getting a behind-the-scenes look at how major film and television projects are brought to life!!

Alongside my runner duties, I had the opportunity (and honour) to sit in on sessions across multiple departments, including Sound Editing, ADR, Colour Grading, Post-Production Supervision, and even the Engineering Department. Seeing how these teams collaborate gave me a much deeper understanding of the entire post-production workflow and the level of detail that goes into every stage.

One of the highlights of my placement was observing an ADR session for an animated production (I signed an NDA, but it's a pretty big one!!). From the control room, I watched the actor record while the director, writer, and producer joined remotely. It was fascinating to see how performances are shaped in post-production and how creative decisions are made in real time.

This experience confirmed my passion for post-production, particularly offline editing, and gave me invaluable insight into professional industry practices. It was an amazing opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, ask questions, and build connections that I know will support me as I begin my career in film.
